Great food and warm coffee at fair prices! It's hard to compete with their breakfast, and that's saying something considering the options that are just down the road in Ferndale. There's specials on the weekends, and a patio for the nice days. You can sit at the bar and get your usual, or grab a table with your friends and start your day right. Friendly and approachable staff make sure you're having the best experience possible. There's something for everyone, and nobody will be disappointed. Personally recommend their Eggs Benedict!
Very good ingredients. Fun cozy environment. Friendly service. Very small, very busy. Usually have to wait to be seated.
We loved it when it was Mae's Diner and we still love it as the Whistle Stop! Food tastes like it's the same chef, however, the decor and ambiance have not changed for the better since Mae's. We do miss the old Mae's hipster feel of the place!
Phenomenal breakfast/brunch spot. Literally the only problem they have is a lack of seating. Be prepared to wait. But also, the wait is worth it.
Rather expensive compared to Burger King, but not in the same class. The atmosphere is diner bordering on trendy. The unusual menu incorporates comfort food with a twist. We got the sweet potato fries to go. They were excellent. I recommend you try the Whistle Stop for a unique, upbeat dining experience.
